Tonya Helman is a California resident and manages the West Coast office for the Sweethearts. She received her BS from Kaplan University in Computer Information Systems where she gradated Summa Cum Laude. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Organizational Management from Bellevue University. Her six season, three team NFL cheerleading career leads East to West coast and from the NFC to the AFC. She also runs her own Web Development and Graphic Design company, Oracle Illustrations, LLC where she performs freelance and volunteer work.

Tonya first got introduced to the military when she was cheering for the Arizona Cardinals when they were selected to tour to the Middle east to entertain the troops. It was in Bahrain where she met AW1 Cory J. Helman, her late husband. Cory and Tonya were married almost four years when he was involved in a MH-60S Navy helicopter mishap over the Pacific Ocean in January 2007.

Since then, Tonya has been on 13 tours with four organizations to over 20 countries including, Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Japan, Cuba and Guam
