My appreciation for the men and women of the armed forces began at a very early age having been born on and spending my younger years on base at Fort Riley, Kansas. Both my father and grandfather were physicians in the United States Army. After Fort Riley my family was stationed in El Paso, Texas for a few years before finally settling in Walnut,
California.

I have worked full-time in healthcare for the past seven years and truly enjoy helping people and adding happiness to peoples’ lives when they may not be in the best spirits. I was dancer in the NBA for the Los Angeles Clippers for four years, a featured model in the August 2009 issue of Shape Magazine, appeared in the opening performance for the ESPY awards with Lance Armstrong, performed with Jennifer Love Hewitt at the NFL Pro Bowl, and have been a principal in various national commercials.

I also have a fascination with the atmospheric sciences. The Weather Channel is actually one of my favorite channels (along with Sports Center). My dream job is to be a broadcast meteorologist!

There are many individuals in my life who are or have served as members of the Unites States Armed Forces. Having the opportunity to be a Sweetheart and show them how much their service means to me is such an honor. I cannot wait to go out and show my support for the amazing men and women in uniform!
