Born in the Show-Me State of Missouri, I am a native of St. Louis. I attended Pattonville High School and the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where I earned my degrees in Biology & Business Administration. I began my dance training very early at the age of 4, as my mother was a dance instructor in ballet, tap, jazz and acrobatics. Dance has always been my passion and as soon as I was of age I began my professional dance career working with numerous recording artists and touring with concert events nationwide.
In 1998 I became an NFL cheerleader for the St. Louis RAMS and continued with the RAMS (intermittently) until retiring in 2007. During my time in the NFL I had my first opportunities to participate in military tours (both domestically & abroad). These were some of the most amazing and rewarding experiences I had ever had. Being part of an extensive military family including both grandfathers, numerous uncles, cousins, my younger brother, friends and (close to home) my significant other, all completing tours of service that spanned World War II to the current War in Iraq, my commitment to the service and support of our country's service men & women became a high priority. It is a tremendous honor to be serving my 2nd year as a Sweetheart and I look forward to continuing to lend my time and service whenever possible.
When I am not dancing, coaching or volunteering my time with the Sweethearts I am working as the Director of Partnerships for the METS (Math, Engineering, Technology & Science) Education Department at ARCHS in St. Louis, MO. I am also a part-time faculty member of St. Louis Community College teaching Health & Wellness and I was recently appointed to the Advisory Council for St. Louis Public Schools. When I am at home, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, two dogs (Bailey & Bentley) and my very old cat (Payton). I feel that you are all amazing men and women who sacrifice so much for the safety and betterment of our country, and for all of us who enjoy the graces that America bestows. Thank you all you do and many blessings to you all!
Cheers,
Kinosa
