Hey Y’all:  My name is Julie Kicklighter and I am originally from the Golden Isles of Georgia.  While working for singer, songwriter and author, Jimmy Buffett, I relocated to sunny South Florida and decided to stay in this beautiful Sunshine State.  Southern Girls love sports and, fortunately for me, Floridians do, too.  FINS UP, DOLFANS!!!      

I cheered for the Miami Dolphins in 2005 and was awarded Rookie of the Year by the organization.  One of my most memorable experiences with the squad was going on tour to the Balkans with the Armed Forces Entertainment Group and performing stand up comedy for our troops.  It meant so much to me to bring a little bit of laughter to the men and women who fight for our freedom.  We have had a special group of military men in my family through the years. From a grandfather who served in the Navy during War World I to a cousin who is currently stationed in Afghanistan with the United States Army, and a few uncles and cousins in between.  You know Southerners, we always have a slew of uncles and cousins; second cousins, third cousins and cousin’s cousins.  I am so proud of them all.  And I am so proud of our soldiers.

I have worked in sports, comedy and entertainment over the years, radio, television and stage, and am currently a fitness model and co-host on the DFO Radio Show.  You can tune in to DolphinsFanaticsOnline.com and listen every Sunday morning before NFL Kick Off.
