I’m Bari and this is my second year as a Sweetheart. Prior to becoming a “Sweetheart” , I spent five seasons cheering on the sidelines for the Arizona Cardinals.  While on the squad, I was also captain of the Showteam, a select group of girls picked to travel not only the country, but also the world, providing entertainment for the troops.  This experience introduced me to a world I would have otherwise never known: the inside look into a life of a soldier during war.

My travels have taken me to 20 countries, including Iraq, and I was forever changed.  To see firsthand the sacrifice our troops make for our country was quite overwhelming; it’s an eye-opener and gave me such a sense of pride to be part of this amazing nation we live in.
 
When I am not volunteering as a Sweetheart, I work in media relations for TASER International, educating people on the need for self protection in the form of the non-lethal electronic control device (the C2) manufactured by TASER.
